SaneitiRaine Stovall:The TruthI sat at the desk in the hospital basement. My currently charcoal hair was pulled up on top of my head, my furry ears twitching at the slightest sound. Everyone knew the color of my hair would change by the morning. The candle that sat on the old wooden desk made my amber eyes seem like they were lit from the inside. I normal kept my eyes an unnaturally rich chartreuse, so that I could almost pass for human if my tail and ears were hidden, but I was alone now, so I was allowed to sit with no illusions.
